What would be your Stage/Dancing name

I was so tired last night that I missed this post. Sorry.

You should look into your ancestry, you'll be surprised. Try doing an Internet search on your last name (original and modified at Ellis Island).

A few years ago, after my dad died, I googled his name just to see what was out there. Well, I found a geneology website that was started by my great-grandmothers sister's son (her nephew). On this website were the names of my grandparents, all of their siblings and all their kids and so on and so on. It went all the way back to the late 1700s.

Then I found MY name and flipped! This person "knew" me. I got in touch with the owner of the website and we talk a couple times a year now to fill each other in on details of the extended family and talk about South Philly "back in the day". Actually, he does the talking about that stuff. I actually put him in touch with my grandfather whom he hadn't seen in 60 years! You just can't put a pricetag on something like that, it's one of the most special things I've ever done for my family. Now they talk regularly and share pictures and all that stuff. Very cool.

I never knew I had Lithuanian heritage growing up. I thought that most of my heritage was Russian. Not until a couple of years ago did I find out that my paternal Grandfather was Lithuanian. Pretty cool to learn about just one small piece of my family's history.

Apparently, he and his 10 brothers and sisters escaped during the war in a hay truck when he was about 2 years old. I only ever met one of his siblings, and she passed away a couple of years ago. They are apparently scattered all over the globe. I heard rumors of relatives in Italy and South America. I love to travel. Perhaps I should try to locate them. :)

You could also use your "Stripper" name - that's the name of your first pet as your first name, and the street you were raised on, for your last name....

This is tricky, because I'm not 100% sure what the original name was. There were 3 different documents. I only have a good guess based on which name was more common.

My Dad went to his Aunt's funeral when she died a couple of years ago, and met a lot of our long lost relatives. There was a long story tied to why he hadn't met any of them before, something having to do with a fallout, I'm not sure of the details. Anyway, turns out that someone in CA was putting together a family tree. Dad tried to contact him to get a copy, but so far to no avail.

Unless you were a boy and in a movie made for boys. Then, yeah, you'd be sexy alright! (I'm at the office and the easy, one word answer for THAT kind of film will get me in trouble if I type it at this keyboard).
