We just aren't able to get the dance studio reservations that we need.

Is it possible to rent other facilities? I'm thinking something like a gym? While it won't have mirrors it would still have a wooden floor and would work quite well.

Another idea is to host a big social dance or competition.

I'd think that getting syllabus manuals or videos can be useful for a team library. Ditto for some of the festival show-case or top level competition videos.

If there's any indication that IDF (Inter-contenental DanceSport Festival or I... Dance Camp and Festival, whichever name they're calling it these days) will occur again in 2006, that could be worth saving the funds for to help get a team down to it (normally its in even numbered years, in Florida for a week in January, but the rumors last year were that its future was very uncertain)

Some teams try to get an endowment started, but often that takes HUGE amounts of money up-front, still it can be worth finding out your schools policy.
