Actually, there use to be good shows on the Travel Channel (or Discovery Channel?) called "Great Country Inns"(Colby) & "Inntimate Escapes" (Scott Templeton & Jennifer Convy). I absolutely loved those shows! Places you wouldn't even dreamed country inns existed. I not sure where you are Mr. Bixx but if in the continental US, you can find them from California, New Mexico & Canada to Key West and Maine. Nova Scotia is pretty nice as well further north.

I agree. A country inn where ever you may be would be ideal.
There is something very romantic about visiting a cozy inn with a specially designed and decorated room for two, home cooked meals, places to go walking and touring, kissing, hugging, handholding, ... you know, all the touchy feely stuff, in a wonderfully and often private atmosphere.
