Me as Professor Sprout for tonight's HP&HBP release (SAD NEWS on that book- SAD SAD NEWS, and I won't "spoil" unless someone pms me, I promise, but    )

Ok, Me with scared, uncertain Ickis as in "WTF are you WEARING, you look like a Smithfield Ham gone rancid!"

Zumi in "I dunno- I really think my socks look better..." but it's kind of artsy, isn't it?

And the kids get face-painting, us older nerds get:

   Methinks you've gone mad, woman!

The twisty vine ornamentation is a nice touch, btw.

Please don't give any details!!!! I won't even see the book (much less read it) until I go grocery shopping at Kroger in the morning. 8)

I'm on page 38X and I can say that it is ONE HECK OF A RIDE so far. I know things aren't going to turn out QUITE the way I want them, but I love JKR- she has something more than just an unsurpassed intelligence and brio as a writer- she has an uncanny Gift. I don't quite know what it is.

This book was written exceedingly well, and it's a powerful literary presence.

"What're ye doin' 'Arry? Skulkin' roun' Knockturn Alley? Dodgy Place..."

(They're like crack- if you never read them, you won't get hooked- but Don't Pick Up The First One, or you'll be waltzing to "Hedwig's Theme" (John Williams wrote the scores for the movies) in grocery store aisles.

And wanting a wand, just so you can scoot things on your desk closer, scratch your back, and whack people that annoy you

I loved your tatoo-ish piccy. :D  I'm such a huge fan of Remus's. And the match Rowling found for him? Amazingly fitting, was always my best guess, but I'll always ship slash. She's a good girl and all, but my head is just set on seeing him with a certain someone else.  8)

Twilight Elena

P.s. Very few people will understand this! Cool! :P
P.p.s. Well, only the ones who are into fanfiction. 8)

Woohoo for Slash!

Has anyone seen the "Cleolinda's Movies in Fifteen Minutes"? They parody the HP3 movie and many other non HP movies (including Phantom)... she's BRILLIANT.

Cleo on The Graveyard Scene, PTO:
Erik and Raoul are having the swordfight:

"Stabbity!"

"Slashity!"

.... Did someone say 'Slash'??

You have to be a member of her community, but she's definitely worth the read. I can't wait to see her Matrix trilogy parody.

I thought Remus Lupin and (spoiler) make a great match! But who did you have in mind? A hint or two will do if you don't want to name names. :D

True. Sad but true. I held out until the publication of book three. Then I read all three in a week and was waiting with bated breath for book four.
