Which UK/European festivals/marathons/encuentros would you recommend?

It's the 7th edition of Intango Weekend in Heidelberg, I trust in the experience of the organizers. It will work out somehow, at the bottom line I'm coming back to civilization, straight from dancing tango in a tent somewhere in the French jungle:

As expected, great locations and s lousy ronda, if at all. But I did danc there quite well and plan to come back next year.
Well, camping in the woods, pit toilets and cold showers might not be everyone's cup of tea. But it was a great experience and I danced much better than expected. It'll be on the calendar next year if it happens again:

I am wondering which events people like in the States and why? I have been to one that had a mediocre sticky floor and extremely crowded floor (if there was a ronda or several, I couldn’t make them out). I would estimate 3-400peoole.
I really enjoyed a different smaller event that was crowded, but had two clear rondas and a great floor. Maybe 150 people with a much smaller floor than the other event, but much more manageable.

Which were they? I generally don't go to marathons or festivals here but there are a bunch of large, well-attended events that have been going on for years on both coasts: Boston, Philadelphia, one in Newark for the past few years, and several West Coast events.

In January I always go to the marathon in Charlotte. People go from all over North America so it’s not cliquey with the exception of the handful of locals who dance with each other mostly. Level is good. Well organized. Good DJs. Big enough but not overwhelming. A bit expensive and hard to get into as a solo follower, though.
I frankly like the European festivals and marathons that I’m familiar with better. But I go to CLT every year because I’m normally in the US that time of the year and because I’ve been going since 2018.
