YAY! Ballroom Birthday!

Today is my birthday, and my husband surprised me with 4 private lessons for the Independence Day Dance Camp: Jean-Marc Genereux x 2, Karina Smirnoff, and Polina Pilipenchuk! WHAT A THOUGHTFUL GIFT! I'm both excited and nervous at the thought of that...but mostly excited.

Also got some other nice non-dance related gifts:
-various crayon drawings (from 4-year-old daughter)
-a plum-colored blazer from Coldwater Creek (from husband)
-2 sets of outfits to match my 4-year-old (from my parents)
-32 piece assortment of DARK CHOCOLATE from Nirvana chocolates (from best friend)
-$2000 CASH (in-laws)

Nothing overly special planned for today, though we do have a dance lesson at 6 and I am having this crazy thought of asking our instructor to teach us some international foxtrot, which we don't know at all. (We know enough quickstep, Viennese, and int. tango to get around the floor at a social, but that is it.)

That's awesome! You live in a great place for events like that. We don't have anything cool around here unless you want to travel for miles or fly lol. Lucky girl! Let us know how it goes, and take some pics! ;)
 
Hey. That's awesome gifts. :D Reminds me of that thread I created once about gifts that you never use and that are pretty much worthless. Not the case here, obviously.

That is a waaaay awesome birthday!! My DH gave me 2 hours of privates from a pro that lives a couple of hours from here for Valentine's day. My birthday's coming up in May... perhaps I should drop some hints! We're within 3-4 hours from at least 3 major cities and several significant dance pros... we try to take advantage as often as possible.
