yesterday's activities

Yesterday:
Website re-design revs up
Dinner with a friend from days gone by; we go to a local restaurant near where she used to live, having a nostalgia fest
 
Yesterday was day 5 of training and grandson sweetly elected to wait til I returned so that we could get another goodbye hug. Spent rest of eve with son eating leftovers and being couch potatoes

Today drove from Portland to ogden utah
 
Yesterday:
Dance Camp at Empire; registration gets a little nuts, but not bad, really, all things considered
Walk to famous-ish pizza place not too far away; it's a lovely evening. Pizza is good, but not "the best pizza in New Jersey" because seriously, that would be the best of some damn tough competition
Try to stay awake until at least 8; this involves signing on to Netflix on the hotel TV and browsing for about 45 minutes, which works for keeping me awake
 
Yesterday: drive home from kearney...last 2 hours were a stormy hellish nightmare. So nice to see dh...missed his face

Today worked remotely in morning and did some hacking at large fallen tree...spent afternoon with grandbabies...they heal my soul. .made stop in office to get jump on what will undoubtedly be a full blown cluster tomorrow. Soup and now horizontal

I am glad you are home safe! Driving through big storms is no fun whatsoever.
 
Rough day back...son lost his job. Not his fault but lots of worries go with that...we are in a strategic merging with another non profit so uncertainty is also high at my work and I have a shoulder injury the cause of which I cannot pinpoint which is not responding well to NSAIDS...many other stresses but its not the whining thread
 
Monday, Tuesday, and Yesterday:
Work registration at Empire. Last night, they had a team match full of kids, most of whom had been at the dance camp. Loud, much?
