    I would say that it is not their personal issues being discussed here/on social media but their public behavior.

    Good point! I don't know about gossiping. Personally, I am not interested in what has happened between them and caused this behavior. What I see here is rather a case of 'the king is naked' and an opportunity for reflection.

    It is an incident, sure, but it showcasts values, behaviors and even norms that belong to the tango world/scene and not only to individuals alone. Basically , when you are a public figure what you do in public is more than just personal whims.

    I guess besides this aspect of human behavior /respect (or emotional maturity as I phrased it in the title) the more interesting question is: now, that tango has become a profession (or, at least, we see a professionalization of tango) is there a deontology that comes with it?

    Yes, she is sad about loosing it because it used to give her joy and she likes dancing tango...she was also wondering if this can be 'normal' ie most tanguer@s experiencing it from time to time, maybe even preceeding a new development stage.

    And I would add: 5. Tango people should refrain from using syntagmas such as "tango princess" (since these lead to categorizing, inducing certain behavior(s) and ultimately affecting the tango culture).
