Time of the Season - The Zombies - What dance style?

Tempo is too fast for international rumba, and a bit sprightly for American. I'd be tempted to try nightclub two-step, although I'm not sure the "feel" of the song works. But yeah, it would be very cool to be able to choreo something to that organ solo.

What dances should a ballroom dance party include?

Where I am, a playlist for a typical Friday night will contain several of: Waltz Foxtrot (tending towards faster temps, for the American style bronze dancers) Tango (some suitable for Argentine) Cha-cha Rumba Salsa/mambo Bolero (lots of bolero dancers here) ECS WCS Hustle Country two-step...

What dances should a ballroom dance party include?

Interesting. Over here in north Alabama, WCS is huge. ECS isn't exactly small, but there are at least two WCS events in town every week, plus a big WCS convention in the fall.

    How are your practices going?

We've worked out a slot in between her lesson an my lesson. It's not very much time, but it's better than nothing and will do for now. This way, on lesson day, I still get home before 6 PM.

    How are your practices going?

A problem... my am partner has had to change her lesson schedule. The issue I have is this: since my DW is no longer dancing, I promised her that I will spend a max of two evenings a week dancing and not being home at dinnertime. Currently, those days are Monday (WCS social dance in the...

Is being able to dance on-beat and musicality different things?

Being able to dance on beat is an essential element of musicality. However, dancing on beat isn't always musical.
