Hmmm. So that is what they are calling it these days, is it?
Ask questions, meet dancers, and be part of the conversation.

Me, I believe if you keep a man's stomach and loins happy, his heart and mind will follow![]()

I guess illusions described as possibilities are capable of making one feel a lot better...pygmalion said:He's assuming that what's out there represents real possibilities, rather than just illusions ... (Just another perspective. )
I've been married 20 years and I'm not the best cookpygmalion said:lol Not necessarily in that order.
oh I beleive the loins are the most important part when he hits midlife madam...and perhaps when she hits it as wellpygmalion said:You've gotta admit those two are a good start...
All bets are off when he hits midlife, though ...

agree, on all counts...sometimes I think you and I are virtually redundantpygmalion said:Hmm... not quite sure how to respond, but respond I must. I can't remember what thread it was several months ago where this came up, but two-second synopsis of men hasn't changed. A guy needs to have sex regularly, eat decent food, and have sufficient money in his pocket to cover his needs. Those are bottom-of-the-pyramid survival needs. After that comes all the other good stuff. I think that's true of many, if not most guys, regardless of what stage of life. I could be wrong, though. *shrug*
My comment about all bets are off was, I suspect, part of what you're getting at. Where and with whom a guy takes care of his survival needs sometimes changes, when midlife hits. I don't know why, but I've seen it happen to quite a few. :? And yeah. Women aren't exactly immune to the midlife thingie, either. :?

It sounds about right to me!(but let's not forget about having a good dancer too!)
(Just remembered a funny story that my Mom told me. Her brother (my Uncle) told her one time that he doesn't care what the next woman he marries looks like as long as she can cook. My Mom told me (not sure if she told him!) I didn't think you cared what the first one looked like!)
