Ballroom Bootcamp on TLC

A new show, "Ballroom Bootcamp," is coming to TLC (The Learning Channel) starting this week. On Friday and Saturday they'll be showing a "sneak peak" preview of the first four episodes, check local listings for times and channels.

I believe that "Ballroom Bootcamp" is the show where regular people were trained to compete in special events at the Yankee Classic this past June. Should be interesting!

Are you sure its this weekend? I went through the channel guide and the TLC website and did not find it anywhere.

I checked the web site and it's not there, but my TiVo said that a "preview" will be shown four times on Friday and Saturday. The weird thing is that I just went back to look at it again on my TiVo, and it's not there anymore at all! So the programming information must have been updated since I first saw it. Hummm, weird. Annoying.

A friend forwarded an update that appeared on the NDCA.org page under "Breaking News..."

The first showing has been pushed back to October 8th.

Ballroom Bootcamp

I dance at one of the studios where they are filming Ballroom Bootcamp. The preview special has been set back to August, and the airing date will be on October 8, 2005. The events where these people will compete or have competed includs the Yankee Classic, Florida State Dancesport Championships, and the Embassy Ball. The winners will compete in a grand finale. I know this is not about ballroom bootcamp but PBS are at Supershag to-morrow night filming a reality ballroom show involving kids.I really do not know much about it as it is at our Waltham location but if anyone wants more info then I shall find out and put it in a thread dedicated to the show.Cheers Chris

I just did an internal search of the TLC website, and there's nothing posted yet.

btw, when I googled ballroom bootcamp learning channel, this thread was the first hit. DF rocks! 8)

I spoke with one of the producers for the show and she told me that the special will not air... the reality show will air on October 7th... I'll be one of the guys in the promo/commercial for it... 8)
