Boyko hair and makeup

Does anyone have any recommendations for the makeup artists? There are two ladies to choose from when I try to book my appt. Boyko is only available to choose for hair, not makeup.

I have heard good things about Sylvia(?); however, I've only worked with Olly and she is wonderful. I don't know if there's a difference in cost.

Silviya! Actually I have no idea, but I'm biased since I took lessons with Silviya back when she taught. You can't really go wrong with either.

Had Boyko do my hair for a recent comp and Tessa for makeup- everything was great! They are professional, efficient, always running on time and get amazing results!

Lisa is my go-to if Boyko isn't at the comp. She has always made me look polished (something of which I am incapable if left to my own devices).

My pro am ladies only use lisa Bentley and my wife uses her as well.

Good to know!! There seems to be something about me and hair and makeup appointments--weird things go wrong, more in terms of timing than the actual work--so I always get nervous when I have to deal with somebody new.

They have an appointment booking form that you fill in- then Suzanne emails with appointment times as soon as heat lists are up.

Huh. The one time I tried to use Boyko it didn't work out because they were short handed, but they e-mailed me all the same.

I would say this- i would definitely NOT recommend Boyko if you have super short hair. I went to him once and it was a disaster. Like embarrassing. I felt like the part in "there's something about Mary." I've had numerous conversations with other short haired women- they e expressed similar things. It's just not his thing. He usually tries some wierd avant garde thing and every person I know who has tried him who didn't have some long hair to put "up" has never gone back.

His work is amazing on women with lots of hair though.
