So many people refused to get vaccinated because of very rare heart complications among young males that were resolved within days at the hospital, while COVID itself can seriously damage the heart. This is what I've read today:
"People infected with
COVID-19 were roughly 47 times more likely to have a heart attack within four weeks of being exposed to the virus than uninfected people within four weeks of vaccination, according to a new study underlining the continuing risk of the virus.
The
pre-print study of COVID patients in Hong Kong has not been peer-reviewed yet or accepted for publication. It was a joint effort of scientists at the University of Hong Kong and Oxford in the UK."
Personally, when I got vaccinated, my heartrate was only elevated for about two days and only mildly. When I had Delta, my RESTING heart rate went from the low 50s to the 120s and stayed there for five days. Basically, I felt as if was jogging for 5 days straight. No wonder I was exhausted and lost seven pounds (and I was not overweight to begin with).
