So the 2022 scores for Millennium are still available on the website If you don’t want to wait for next .Tuesday nights cliff hanger. What’s interesting to me, is that none of the 6 ladies seem to be competing again this year at Millennium. I can’t seem to find any info on what they’re all doing this year. Does anyone know?

FYI, hello everyone! I am brand new to this forum. I wish I had the skill and resources to try ballroom dancing, but alas, it looks like that's not a possibility in this lifetime for me. In the meantime I love to watch and admire ballroom dancing, and I find it uplifting. My dancing experience consists of tropical social dancing and watching anything on TV with ballroom in it. so you may have to bear with me
Welcome! FYI, that show represents the high end of ballroom dance, but there are much more affordable ways to learn and participate through group lessons and social dance, which run closer to the cost of an exercise class.Exactly what I thought as well.

I watched the next episode of Dancing Queens today. I competed at Millenium in Texas last year in Closed Silver, and me being me, every time Millenium came up in the show, I shouted next to the kids: "I won Milennium! I won Millenium!" It's hard enough to convince my girls to watch the show with me, the shouting didn't help . By the end they gave up even saying, " Yes Anyu, we know." They just stuffed their faces with popcorn in silent protest.
(Or because I usually don't let them eat popcorn at home. They basically blackmailed me and only agreed to watch the show with me if I let them eat popcorn).
It was nice to see some deeper conversations with the characters this time, both with their coaches and families. (Deeper in the context of a reality TV show, of course). We have learned a lot about Sabrina in this episode. I prefer her dancing to that of Leonie (when Sabrina is in good form, she really owns her moves and is very passionate. I rate these qualities highly in a Latin dancer). I hope we will see more comp dancing in the next episode.

I go to the same studio with one of these ladies but I don't spend like them. I just started not too long ago with zero dance or athletic background but just like you who just love the idea of dancing. I progressed a lot in a year with my dedication to learn without spending fortunes.Exactly what I thought as well.

I'm sorry, but I disagree. I understand why she felt betrayed but that doesn't mean she was right. The Pro had to choose, and if there was any reason why the competitor in the show should have been a priority, we didn't learn it. I'm with you in that loyalty works both ways in a sense that a Pro should always do his or her best with a students and have the student's back, but that is as far as loyalty goes.
I think the pro handled the situation poorly. I realize he had a family of 3 already taking from him. From a business standpoint he should have encouraged his student to stay with rhythm. His student had an unrealistic expectation that she would place in then Latin division right out of the starting gate. He ended up losing a student, but that student ended up in the win/win situation after all was said and done. His student ended up going back to rhythm and the pro now has one less student who was heavily invested in him.
Also, on another note, not one of these women were at the 2023 Millenial event.

Still very doubtful we will get a second season but I really enjoyed it! I think the producers left a lot of drama on the table. I want to know more about the pros! And Gaelle was only half on the show. Loved the last episode, think the winner absolutely deserved it and some of the other placements were incorrect. Looking forward to watching Donie compete at Manhattan as always but now will also keep an eye out for Sabrina.

I agree (and I've seen the final live last year). Sabrina danced great, and she and Stan looked like the genuine article on the floor, putting on a fantastic performance.
Not gonna lie, I didn't realize that was the finale until the end when they were showing all the "where are they now" blurbs. No wonder they kept claiming Millennium is the Super Bowl. I mean, in terms of expense and hype, maybe.
After all that, 2 or 3 of them (lost track) split with their pros, but Sabrina and Stas are (were) still together, and her "feral" "p*rn" style (competitors' words, not mine) in a barely-there dress ("it suits her") is what won. Take note contestants.
Btw, Stas looked genuinely pleased when Sabrina turned around and saw Ronnie. That was a great moment. Seriously, Stas has a special place in my TV-viewer heart.

Sabrina's dress looked fantastic on her. It suited both her body and style. I didn't find it pornographic at all, Colette'd dress was actually more revealing (and I liked it, too. She is in great shape and has every right and reason to flaunt her body. We all know that over 35, a fit figure - in any shape or body size - isn't ever just luck and genetics but the result of hard work and discipline).
And I agree with you on Stan, too. He puts his heart into his dancing even in ProAm, and in my book, that's huge.

Same! But I was a bit pissed at her husband for giving Sabrina an ultimatum about her dancing (or at least to make her winning a requirement for her to want to dance), so I was curious if she continued with it. She clearly cares a great deal about dancing.
(Of course, the ultimatum might have been artificially generated drama for the sake of the show. From what we could see, Sabrina's husband was supportive of her dancing, at least at Millennium).
