Emotional maturity or what is that we are looking at - Gavito Festival 2024/Gustavo Naveira - Giselle Anne ?

Lost cause? Nope – I didn’t say that.

Some people are in a position which gives them an opportunity to resist a bully/predator, and to ignore the peer pressure telling them to “not make a scene about it.” Some use the opportunity; some don’t.

Other people are not in a position to effectively resist a predator/bully. Some try anyway; some don’t.

For those who do resist, some pay a price, some don't. Even if they don’t “win” or even if they wait a long time to speak up about the problem, it can still potentially raise awareness of the problem – maybe.

Agree; not an easy choice.

But again, with the scenario above, if a predator/bully would target you, and your friends/acquaintances don’t believe you and/or advise you not to “cause trouble” and to “let it go”: What do YOU do?

What do YOU do?
I agree it's difficult.

Revenge is a dish best served cold?

OK, some are. But, if it's a female, they're either doing something too late and/or they're not getting support from the 'sisterhood', or anyone else around. And they're continuing to go there! If it's so important, organise a boycott to get the person banned. Find them, then name and shame.

Even the highest office isn't a protection!

I've seen people banned from AT venues for abuse. I've seen other 'clubs' ban 'troublemakers' (however that's interpreted). There are supposed to be schemes with identified locations where people can ask for help from hospitality venues with a code phrase. It's not easy to prove beyond reasonable doubt, but something can be done with initiative.
