favorite perfume?

I love spicy smells. My all-time favorite is Ginger Milk, by The Thymes. But I never wear it dancing, because my sister has told me it gives her a head-ache and I'm afraid it will affect my partners similarly :( But everyone else loves the scent on me - any thoughts? Should I take a gamble this weekend and wear a little?

Give it a try and see what happens. :)

i heard that most men like vanilla and spice best...it was some major research study....I wore exclamation for a long time which was vanilla

I'm not big into the citrusy smells. I enjoy flowery, sweet, or spicy scents on a woman. And I like perfumes that seem to be somewhat complex yet well balanced, too.
I dont like citrus for perfume(see previous post) but I like it as my own personal aromatherapy in the winter....

I like heavy oriental scents with vanilla, musk or amber or powdery scents. For the summer I prefere fruity scents. I use several fragrances depending on my mood and the occasion. Also different ones for summer and winter. Some of the fragrances I like are quite expensive ones others are really cheap ones. I use lots of different perfumes but I rarely add a new scent to my assortment. I use the same ones over several years.

My absolute favourite one is wish by chopard but I can only wear it if the temperature is lower than 18 Degrees Celsius otherwise it gives me an headache. I also like Casmir and Mira Bai (which isn't sold anymore in germany and which I don't have) by the same company.

Also jovan (some very cheap stup).
Opium by YSL.
Cool water women

In the Summer I use:
Monoi de Tahiti by Yves Rocher (Unfortunately not sold anymore)
Jil Sander Sun
All about Eve by Joop

Also a friend has a very cheap one that smells like mango which I really like.

If we are lucky enough to find it we tend to keep bottles of it stocked up just in case they stop making it.

I hate it when they do that!

That always seems to happen with my lipsticks, too.

Rosa :)

Definitely Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea! The only problem is that I smell like it for about 10 minutes before it seems to fade away completely

I usually use eau de toilette...."cool water" except fro special times and then fro that you just have to wait and smell me. ;-)

I've been wearing Obsession for Women for a while, but I think I'll be done with it when this bottle is empty. I really liked it at one time, but I think I've picked up a bad mental association with it and I just don't like it nearly as much as I used to.

Lately I've been wearing an assortment of Bath & Bodyworks body sprays/perfumes while I'm in fragrance transition (lol). I really like Warm Vanilla Sugar and wear it pretty frequently. My favorite is Rice Flower & Shea (it smells tropical, a bit like suntan lotion, but not... ? kwim?) For a moment, I can close my eyes and think about living in the Philippines and feel all nostaligic for my life out there. The bad news... They don't make this fragrance anymore. It was a really lucky thing I got the bottle I have (it was clearanced, half off, and the only bottle they had).

I tried a fragrance by (called?) Santana a while back, I liked it, but I didn't buy it....
