yes Friday tomorrow and can't come soon enough, no dancing this week due to this cold, feel flat, but hope to dance tomorrow night and will go to my first milonga on Saturday!

Go Zen with your shopping. Attachment to things only causes one pain.

If I could do that, I would be very, very rich. But that would mean no attachment to my favourite dance shoes, my godmother's ring, my lucky top or my coat of awesomeness. That couldn't possibly happen.

Just for you, nucat :kitty:

Purrrr-fect!

I get to be a complete vegetable tomorrow. Well, aside from technique class. And formation practice. And going to Oktoberfest tomorrow night to see if they play anything danceable. Guess I won't be a total asparagus like I planned afterall...

Received some cash gifts today . . . Trying to convince self that it's ok to spend some of it on something I "want" instead of "need," and trying to figure out what that would even be. (Most will go to bills/credit card/savings . . . but it must be ok to buy myself something with SOME of it . . . I'm getting so stingy in my old age! . . . ;) )

In a former life, when I was a financial planner, we always suggested that ppl include a category in their budget for "mad money". A small amount to fritter away on whatever the heck they pleased.

That was assuming of course that they were current on debts, etc.

I think I am going to explode if I don't go dancing tonight. Counting down the hours, and having a hard time being productive in the meantime.

I think most of us already have that spot filled with ballroom. :)

Great deal on coachings going tonight (pro gave me sneak peek at the pricing, etc, as I was in early by myself practicing), but trying to convince myself to be good and not take it.

That's actually kind of a cute movie with Diane Keaton, Queen Latifah, & Katie Holmes - Mad Money
