Height difference; avoid, open embrace, or some other strategy?

I don’t want to hear my partner’s breath..
Dancing with a much taller dance partner has many benefits, not just her breath. The leader is forced to dance upright. He can comfortably sink his nose into her décolleté. The shoulders can also be relaxed because the right hand can be placed comfortably in the waist of the follower.

In my experience men are far more likely to have heavier breathing. When I have followed some men in classes, I am left wondering how do women dance with them for a whole tanda.
Yep, and even worse is heavy breath, but it is sometimes problem not only leaders. I appreciate then, Tango is dance without words..

I don’t want to hear my partner’s breath! It is rare I hear the breath because we are cheek to cheek. You can feel it with the chest but that’s different.

If your partner has issues with breathing it might be that she has health issues or cardio issues.
It is your responsibility that she feels comfortable.

When dancing you have to coordinate a lot of things, I think breathing is part of it.
The women I dance with usually seem to do the same.
And I don't care about men I don't dance with, in that respect.
