How are those cinnamon rolls?

You really don't know? Maybe they're an American thing? :?

They are definitly an american thing.

And believe you me, when I come to LA, I'll die before I go back without having had at least one of those bad boys.

But you want to know what the worst part is ?

As you have probably guessed (though the hints were scarce and hard to spot) I love Cinamon Rolls.

And we don't get them in France.

A few months back, I walk down a very famous street in Paris, and I catch a hint of cinamon fragance.

My stomach went about 9 feet below ground in expectation (make way for the feast !), and my heart went for the triple lutz (with a twist, thank you very much).

I followed my nose through the crowd, until I came to a ...

Pastry shop !! Right here !!! In Paris !!!! In a street 10 minutes from my home (and 3 from "La Pachanga" ;) )

Already mentaly sorting the content of my wallet and pockets to see how much I could spare on my lust for cinamon, I browed the shop's window, and found nothing that lokked like it could have cinamon in it.

So naturaly, I asked the guy at the counter :

Hi, what's that smell ?

What smell ?

That particular smell that comes from your wonderfull shop (morron)

What ?

That Cinamon smell (stupid knat moron, quit playing with my nerves). Where is it coming from ?

Oh that smell ! Well', it's coming fromo here.

(Don't hit him, don't hit him) I know it's coming from here, I can smell it ! I dont see the pastry it might be in though, so my question is, could you tell me what pastry it's in, please ? (before I punch your nose in so bad it's gona lokk like that cupcake there)

No cake.

What ?!? (breath, breath..)

No, we don't use it in any cakes. Actually, it's a funny story. The neighbouring clothes shops were complaining about the pastry smell, so we had to find something that would please them, and would not be a chemical threatening our products. So we decided that cinamon, being a very sented aroma, would be worth a try.
It seems it's working.
You know, it's weird how... sir ? Sir ? Are you feeling allright ? SIR ?!?

I believe somewhere around that point I fainted. And I have lost any apetite for anything. Food or spiritual. Even physical. Wich is why I have not been around on DF or dancing over the last 6 months or so...[/i]

Yipes! No cinnamon rolls? I'd die. Made some more for breakfast yesterday. Actually, I think I have one or two left. Nice after-dinner snack with hot tea. Mmm... 8)
