Does anyone know how big does this comp get in Standard? I hear it might have a large field in Latin, but tiny in standard? Anyone planning to attend?
 
Is that the one that returns this year after not being held for a few years? If so, it may be hard to predict based on the past.
 
trying to decide if we should go, but don't feel like going all the way to staten island if there will be only 3-4 couples...

Yeah, staten island is soooooooooo far, my partner's finally giving up and moving to town.

preparation, transportation, comp itself take a lot of time. you will not be able to accomplish much else during a comp day
 
By that standard, I shouldn't be able to accomplish much wortwhile (practice, maybe?) after work.

Newark location information is from the comp website, BTW.
 
Well, that's different. but the time you are finished, you still need to go back home, change, take a shower, wash your hair, dry your hair.. and than it's time to sleep.... after work, you can just go straight to practice
