Dunno. I wouldn't have known about that acronym had someone else not used it elsewhere on DF. I just wanted to tease our friend Samina a bit.
 
I checked a site for abbreviations. There were over a hundred pages with chat related abbreviations. People are getting really lazy. :)
 
I was out dancing last week and one lady I know was showing a bit of cleaveage to rather good effect. I can't remember what I said but I made a point of taking a good, long, appreciative look and then complementing her on her (obvious) assets. She obviously appreciated the compiment as next thing I know she's shimmying the twins right at me!
Mmmmmm-mmmm!
I LOVE salsa.
 
I hope it was a good friend... long looks are dangerous, even for people you know, but this one, by her shimmying, sounds like the type who wouldn't mind at all.

i do know the lady concerned quite well and knew before I started that my compliments (both looking and verbalising) would be appreciated.
Incidentally, after the initial observations, we got on with the dance and no further mention of her chest was made.

One thing I have noted over the years is that some guys can get away with stuff that other guys can't. It comes down to the perception of the lady concerned and how she feels about the guy. A bit of cheeky fun is one thing, sleaze is a different matter entirely.
Curiously, the same guy, behaving similarly to to different ladies, can be perceived completely differently by the ladies concerned.

Totally. And the same lady on a different occasion. I found that salsa made me more relaxed around beautiful women and that made them more relaxed around me... but 7 years on I'm in my mid 30s and the under 25s don't always find my easy manner all that relaxing :-/
 
As a salsa club dancer and a ballroom dancer, I see lots of cleavage in all the venues. In the club I am entertained by what the girls are wearing, and as the night progresses the girls coming in the door are wearing less and less! I don't consider latin ballroom dancers to be conservative either. For example, just take a look at America's Ballroom Challenge, which plays on PBS occassionally and just aired again last week. Both the latin and rhythm dancers, and so many ladies in the audience (some you don't want to see!), are placing their cleavage on display for all to see.

You know there are both classy guys who give a passing glance of appreciation, and classless guys who will stare and be gross. Nothing will ever change this, but I assume that you don't want to cover up because you enjoy the subtle appreciation from the classier guys. So in the end its a matter of weighing the enjoyment against the disgust.
 
Yeah, my PP who is very conservative wears some plunging necklines to ballroom socials and showcases. She calls it "part of the costume for dancing". I've never gone to a salsa club with her.
