Looking at cleavage

I came upon this thread late but the more I read the further incensed I became at the unfair treatment toward vmec. I had quite the tongue thrashing to those that picked on her but am resolved that they are not worthy nor would they probably even be capable of understanding the points I was going to render to clear her name, save those given below.
Everyone, please remember before you can cast stones be sure of your own sinless nature. The tables could easily be turned on each and every one of us. We all have our good and bad points and being tolerant of others can only better us.

vmec has a large chest that attracts attention. Some of us wear an abundance of make-up (look upon the avatars and pictures on this forum) to attract attention. If she deserves to be oggled and ridiculed due to this than perhaps the same argument would say that we deserve to be thought of as promiscuous since we appear to dress and look like hookers. Neither argument has merit. Her original point was muffled by our quickness to judge and comdemn.
 
Nope, still here reading... the thread had gone drastically off-topic which is way I wasn't posting.

I'm more of a lurker than anything... but if something catches my eye I will post.

My original point was simple: look but don't gawk, posess some self control. With only a few drastic exceptions I do/ dress nothing out of the ordinary and men should be able to "appriciate" in a respectable manner.

Well, because there's a taboo air about it. In the US, people are so uptight. Take a look at the Europeans. They have topless beaches!

I'm sure that they do but they're less uptight about it. The taboos in this country confuse me and I grew up here. :shock: Show someone getting cut in half or dismembered on TV - no problem. Show a naked breast - oh no it's the end of the world.:headwall:
 
I've been thinking about what to say here for awhile now..
I don't mind somebody looking at my cleavage if they don't mind me looking at thier crotch.. Plain and simple...

Hmmm not really true..
On the Caribbean island of St Maarten, it's French on one side and Dutch on the other... The French side has clothing optional beaches and the Dutch side has casinos... I ironic if you as me....

Well... that's great if it is really that simple for you!

Though, the problem which I face, is that I hate being so objectified by men staring at my breasts... but men (generally I think) would love if a women stared at his crotch is feeds his masculinity (sorry I can't spell). Men would be like "swwwwweeeeeeeeeeeet... she's totally checking out my package... ya want some of this?????". Or men, would you like or dislike a women checking out your package? (I'd like to guess the majority would love it).
 
meh...I rather doubt that it is that simple or absolute for either gender and I think sweeping genralizations of that sort are, in and of themselves objectifying in an equally de-humanizing way as the gawking that you so despise vmec...though it is nice to see you still with us
 
^ Yes, I agree. But I do like to include the "most" "almost always" "in most cases" type of clauses so to always have room for error.
