True. But I'd really like it to happen again.
Ask questions, meet dancers, and be part of the conversation.

I like this tanzsegler. While on teh subject of yin and yang I find use of this concept interesting. There are many who don't understand this and most Western usuage reflects cultural misconceptions that have severely distorted the original meanings.tanzsegler said:To have a perfect dance as you say you did it is like the repepresentation of ying and yang. Not just the man/woman, lead/follow, but also the equilibrium inside both the lead and follow, when all is equal they must both be equal to eachother as well as to themselves. Both must equally give and receive with peace in their hearts.

Hey, if you figure it out let us know!pygmalion said:...I had the greatest dance experience a couple days ago.

Oddly enough, I can't put a finger on what I felt.
Question to follows: Does what I'm saying click with you? Have you ever felt that way with a lead? What was different about it?
And for leads: What kinds of things do you do, if any, to make a follow feel good about dancing with you?
If you don't want appreciation, why do you show it then? Women!  :headwall:cocodrilo said:How to make a follow feel cherished?
DON'T praise her for her cleaveage!

Side note: why is it that everytime I read the titel of this thread I "see" an e where the first o is?:lol:
(Making a fellow feel cherished instead of Making a follow feel cherised :? )
