Now that - along with the homogenisation idea - is very interesting!...
The fairly-'traditional' class has been getting increasingly 'large/Neo', whilst the 'we-are-totally-NUEVO!' class has been getting increasingly 'small/milonguero'; I put it down to the available space that each has in its milongas... but now that I think about it - they really are meeting (and stabilising!) at pretty much exactly the same place in the middle....

AS WE ARe discussing dancing approriate to the space available; my gripe is wth tango dancers who dance small very beautifuuly but dance the smame staccatto steps to vals when there is loads of spce, with no feeling forthe flow and motion of vals..taking BsAs "authenticity" too far, methinks, and homogenity of VA is true when they dance milonga, bt I have et to see a UK couple dance VA as smooth as it is purpoted to be.
But it is still looks better than the Aston Villa embrace
