If you could choose anywhere in the world to get training, money and obligations aside, where would it be?

You beat me too it. I was going to say north/central new jersey. Some of the best are here.

yep, exactly. thanks for expanding it to include "central" -- most definitely a hot-bed of amazing talent.

we are so lucky to live in this region.
<kissing soil w/ gratitude>

now, as for the money required to pay for this talent...
<checking soil for signs of money tree...>

Why that area? Keep talking, please. I'm looking to relocate!
There are a lot of top pro dancers in New Jersey because, I think, NYC is took expensive to live. Most of these dancers have immigrated from Eastern Europe where they were champions (or highly ranked) in their own country.

warning: i am absolutely ignorant re the AT world...

yes, exactly

Gut reaction says Buenos Aires.

But then my head reminds my gut that ballroom is unheard of (IME) in Bs.As., so my head is putting the kaibosh on BsAs as a valid response.

No better response.

yah, but in the virtual world you can be a cecilia bartoli, if you like.
<sigh... ah, to sing like that...>
I've never heard of her. I'd like to be able to sing like Celine Dion. Now THAT'S a voice, IMHO!!!

Back to the question at hand. Since I live in NJ and have access to some of the best and that puts cost in the reality zone, I think it would be fun to study with some pros in London. I love London and it would be a great way to get back to visit. I think I'll have to research that possibility.
