Salsa: The Hall of Fame (Dancers)

I can't agree with a lot of the previous choices because most are just to young to be in the Hall of Fame in my opinion, but if you're going to talk about puttiing Joby, and Seaon, and the Vazquezes you GOTTA also put Janet Valenzuela on there to rep LA.

I've got to agree with youngsta on this one... some of these people are great dancers to be sure but just haven't been around long enough to really merit "hall of fame" status yet.

i'm not good with names .. and i make opinions only after seeing dancers do it in social setting .. quite a number of times..

that said.. anyone who'se gotta a contageous flava and i sense the music in their invogorating motion.. basically transmits the 'spirit of dance' with an 'oh so jivin smooth groove' style that they take me into their magical world of sensation.. and u can see them spreading it in a halo to those around .. hey.. thats all i luv to see..

ahem.. basically.. Los Dominicanos rule! 8)

Hello everyone,

I am a Melbourne gal from Australia, and I must say I have seen alot of the big names come out here and I have just come back from the Sydney Salsa Congress in Sydney where some of the biggest names in the world performed and I have to say in Australia we have our own hall of fame candidate who is only in his early 20's.

His name is Jamie Jesus and his in a leauge of his own in Australia, everyone I know in Melbourne agrees that this guys is definaley world class and the great thing thing is he is the most humble of professioanls you will ever meet.

I wish we had more Jamie's in Australia and around the world...
