Seen Any Good Movies Lately?

Did you do the AMC at the movies day where you pay a flat fee and see all the Oscar best picture nominees? Looks like a good deal. One Saturday. Thirty bucks. A ton of movies. :cool:
 
never heard of it, haven't been in the habit of going out to the movies for years. but what a clever idea.
 
after "lost in translation" won an oscar, i stopped paying much attention to who & what wins. was sorta the last disillusioning straw.:rolleyes:

this is the first year since then that i can recall paying attention. that i have a connected TV around right now is the reason. :)
 
I never watched the Oscars until this year. Not sure why I did this year, to be honest. I get the importance of rewarding great work. I just don't get why the whole world has to watch. Eh. I'm an old grump.

I love movies, but award shows... no thanks. They are too long and generally boring. Have not watch the Oscars in many, many years.
