Streaking Tanners

I was trying out a new tanner last night (As usual) and I woke up to the worst streaks all over my legs.....and I have a latin class today! Ahhhh! And when I say bad I mean BAD. Any suggestions to help with my tiger strips??

Thought about putting more but I figured it might make the darker lines darker and stand out even more. It is a bronzer and self tanner. I dable with those a lot and have never had an issue but this brand is just killing me. I tried taking a quick shower and it lightened it a bit but its still very obvious. Even form a distance. Should I just try to scrub it off with a sponge? Afraid that would look worst.

exfoliate the darkest areas to even it out. don't apply more. wear hose if it's terrible. finally, relax - latin dancers are used to weird tanning faux pas :)

This may sound crazy, but the last time I had problem spots that were too dark (like on my elbows), my boyfriend came up with the ingenious idea of exfoliating me with a piece of very fine sandpaper he had. It did not hurt at all and effectively removed the dark spots (probably along with the skin) without a lot of rubbing! Not sure how this would work if you have to lighten your whole leg, though.

the hard part will be removing the stones when you get a dress in a new color and have to replace them. :)

Mind if I ask which one you were using? Because I had the same experience using the tanner that I have always used for every day (Sublime Bronze)...but recently, they must have changed their formula, because the last 2 bottles I bought of it were VERY sticky & smelled different & caused horrible stripes!

I've not worn them myself, but I hear that tan fishnets can blend streaking, as well.
