It's set a few years after the end of Terminator 2 and ignores the events of Terminator 3 (minus Sarah worrying about her future health). A complete summary can be found on the show's website. http://www.fox.com/terminator/showinfo/index.htm

I like the show and am hoping it gets an order for more episodes (all the ones that have aired and will air in the next few weeks were shot before the Writers Strike last November).

Yep, nice twist there at the end and I liked the bit with Derek and John at the park for his birthday. I hope the show gets renewed for a second season as I really like it.
 
Only the first half hour. I must say it looks good. They've done a good job of making Lena's terminator scary. In kind of a "Nightmare Before Christmas" way.
 
I am thrilled with how good this series has ended up being. My expectations were very low and, honestly, this is one of the best sci-fi TV shows in years. With the exception of Firefly (which would be an unfair comparison) I'd say it's the best since Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Incidentally, yes I am a huge geek and am very sad that Gary Gygax passed away on Tuesday.

Ahh, Firefly. :( Fox did that show so wrong but I'm glad that we got Serenity as a result.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good this show became and adding Brian Austin Green as Derek Reese/John's uncle was brilliant casting! :D

Read about that. Never got into D&D but I knew who he was and understood his huge influence and impact on gamers' lives. May he RIP.
