What non tango songs can you tango too?

I hope nobody flames me for this, but I was watching an old Dr. Dre video and they did a cool tango dance in it. Can you believe it? In a hip video. Anyway, it made me start wondering, what other types of songs could you do a tango too, that are not necessarily tango music. Could jazz work? other songs? What are your thoughts?
No problems here. You referring to what some tango people call, alternative music. Some DJs, will play an alternative tanda, if they think it's something the community or crowd, would like. Occasionally there are even milongas that are all alternative music, (some people call them alternative milongas). When I am asked to DJ at someplace unfamiliar, I will ask the organizer if their community wants any alternative music. One, two, or no alternative tandas are common answers, but I've been told as high as 30% alternative. Occasionally I have even DJed alternative milongas.

I can pretty much dance tango to any kind of music, assuming the song isn't so bad, that I can't stomach even listening to it, (such as Tom Waits singing). Now as to whether a given song inspires me to dance to it, is a completely different topic. I'm actually rather picky about which alternative songs I'll dance to (or play).

Also, some people consider alternative music to be blasphemy.

I've always fancied dancing to Robbie Williams "She's the One". Might be more showing my age than any great tango inspiration ;)

None. Tango is not about steps. It's about moving with your partner in a close embrace (follower in my case) to the music. In other words, dancing the Tango is dancing the music. If it's not Tango music, it's not Tango.
