What should I look for in AT shoes?

yep- the stilettos are the best. :) Though, my taste in shoes is VERY girly, sparkle, plenty of flowers and fru fru...not for everyone!

That's ok...there's room for all! I'm just glad we have a choice now! It wasn't always that way.

Black patent leather and 4" straight heel not for you??? Too bad.

Oh, Bastet! They are so pretty!
Are they from Dance Diva? I was looking at that pair myself, and in the end thought the print was kinda too strange for the shoes... I was oh so wrong! They are cute. Not too much, at all. Just right.
Next time I know, I will ask for the whole picture rather than making a judgment by a small fragment, lol.

i can't see them :'( 'snot fair... i love shoes... sometimes i think they are the best thing about tango... it's the only chance i get to dress up these days!

i like the charteuse sling backs with bows on the fellina site... good job i a. don't hve a credit card and b. am not a size 5...

it'll come up as pop up window becasue I couldn't get it to load in the post so maybe you have disallowed popups? I know how you feel. I work as an artist and so I wear messy, comfortable clothes during the day. Tango is the only time I dress up.

chartreuse slingbacks? sounds cute!...must go see....

Yes- from dance diva- she was very helpful on the purple pair, though better at phone contact than email (she travels a lot so has her phone with her all the time). She has a pair of green and gold mary jane's with an exposed arch on one side that sound cool...but I am off limits for some time now.

Tango wear made those?

.....

Giving Comme il Faut a run for the money. I'm definitely going to check those guys out. The shoes LOOK great! Please post and tell us how they feel, hold out, etc?

tango-wear does a pretty good job. You can also have a look at tangoshoedivas.com for a few reviews. She's bought several pair from them.

I have a purple pair that is relatively comfortable. Heels a little higher than I like, but they made them to measure for fit. I find them a decent shoe. Could use more padding in the foot but I complain about that in all my shoes. Shipping is a little expensive so it seems people tend to pitch in and buy a couple of pairs to defray the cost from the reviews I've read.

Wait...I thought they were CiF's. Did I miss something?

the purple paisley ones are CiF...but I think she may have been looking at the ones from the earlier post with the pony print and pink trim? Was I wrong about that ME?

I do have a pair of purple and black m.etallic shoes from tango-wear though...I can't pass up purple m.etallic.

Comme Il Fauts all the way! I've tried them all.... best in construction...sexy & sturdy. They do make a 3.5" heel, it was surprisingly more comfortable than I thought it'd be.

Besos,
Eva

CiF is definitely my preference, though I have one pair of Traspie's that I wear alot (lower heel and very comfortable) but I think that was a bit of a lucky shot. The only thing I could wish for with CiF is more padding in the ball of foot. I'm just not sure anyone was really meant to do Chacarera in Tango shoes! :)

Hi all! I am new to this forum, so I wasn't quite sure if I should begin a new thread or not, but I decided to post to this thread anyway since it's related.

I would like to order a pair of Victorio tango shoes (http://www.victoriotangoshoes.com.ar/). However, I've never ordered anything over the internet before so I was wondering how safe it is. Am I going to receive my shoes or not? Has anyone ordered Victorio's before? My questions might seem silly for someone who's already ordered plenty of times, but for me it seems kind of strange to order shoes via email...How would I know if and when they're going to get here? Please forgive my ignorance...

Thanks in advance for any opinions&help!:)
