Yeah I love that there’s a high density of dancers, dance events, and cities there compared to where I live in the US. My events planned so far for this coming spring/summer are:
I split my time 50-50 US/Germany although I’m from neither of those countries. I used to just visit family during the summer, for longer and longer stints each year BECAUSE of the tango scene. Now I wish I could live there full time.

Yep, that's one of my regular festivals. Top tip: If you haven't yet booked your accommodation, do so now! I booked my hotel room before festival bookings even opened.
I loved it last year and added it to my list for this year for a repeat visit. So it will only be my second visit - not sure if that counts as regular
. But.... I also booked my hotel before registration opened!I book even before the date has been announced if it’s in an expensive area. Mostly I get it right, but this year I got caught with the wrong weekend. A favorite event has been the first weekend of May every year, I got a good deal on a hotel, and then when it was formally announced, it was shifted to the second weekend. Of course no longer the same prices were available. But at least I had a refundable booking.
I'm not quite that hardcore as I wait until the dates are advertised!
