Best New Songs

Here's a fun one:

Cha-Cha-Cha OR Quickstep:

Icona Pop - Emergency

Catchy. It's just a tiny smidge fast for Cha (depending on whose guidelines you use), but easily adjusted. -5 or 6 percent would be a good social cha cha.
Counted double-time it is fast for a Peabody but can be tinkered with.
It would need some serious adjustment for a Qstep though, wouldn't it?

Kind of thinking this could samba? It's really slow, but I could see maybe using it for a social class.

Sounds like it's about 100bpm which would be perfect tempo-wise, but feels more like a WCS? (But then, I'm a maverick who does WCS to anything. :dancingbanana:)

Think I counted it wrong for a quickstep. I'm not really a standard dancer other than socially.

Can't you WCS to nearly anything? Still wish I could do it half as well as I could a rumba.
..
Yeah, that's one of WCS strengths - you can dance to a wide variety of music. I find it challenging to adapt to all the different styles of music especially lyrical style. The songs I like best have a strong beat.
