At least in my area I've found that channel 10's regular programming can be seen on channel 4 while 10 shows all the fire coverage. Feel sort of bad actually getting to watch because of such a tragedy though (as I would normally be teaching Monday and Tuesday nights instead of watching).

The dark-haired guy. Yeah, I saw him but cant figure out who he is. Would love to know...

I will say I'm not surprised Jane and Tony were in the bottom two. It was a lot of nice poses, but there didn't seem to be much dancing from pose to pose.

I know Jane thinks she was lucky to get Tony, but I'm not so sure of that. Tony's choreography alot of times to me comes across as looking slow and careful(even if it may not be). And it certainly doesnt help that the music he gets seems slow and careful as well which often ruins the dance style he's trying to portray(not talking rumba here, of course). Jennie and Derek are another couple who seem to get the slower, less energetic music. And I think with the viewers, that makes a big difference. They want excitement and energy, and the music oftentimes kills that for the couple. So I was not really surprised either to see Jane in the bottom two, though I'd love to keep her.

I was also wondering.

Lately Jane's comments have seemed over the top to me and kind of annoying, although she is my role model for sure, her beauty, grace, charm, and acting talent She has been sounding a bit full of herself and the constant talk about how amazing Tony is.... ok, we all fall a little in love with our pros, we know that, but just stop it already. Whos is her fan base anyway, all the woman over 40 who watch the show? That would be huge, but they might be going for Camero, no?

I just cannot get over the fact that the music is so awful even for the pros' dances. I should have muted the TV during the performance. There is so much famous real rock'n'roll music out there that the general audience is more than familiar with that I don't get it. It was a real challenge for those dancers to dance to this music. I agree with you completely.

I am actually worried about Marie. She says that she has had everything checked on, but the fact that she also said it happens many times isn't good. That scares me. So, this coming week will be interesting to see. And I didn't think that Sabrina deserved any 10's for that performance, and Mel shouldn't have had her own song to dance too. However, Mel did very well. She's improving every week it seems. All the others did a great job too! Cameron was extremely sexy for the first time in my opinion. Jenny just needs to keep it up through the whole song, and she'll be fine. The choreography was fun to watch, but she did let it drop during the middle. But that is what scares me about those fast dances as well though, so I understand! And Jayne wow! She did look like Edyta. I said that too during the performance she was doing actually lol. Good for her! :D

At this point, I have no idea who I want to win. I thought Helio at first, but now I am completely undecided. What a fun season! ;)

Ever since, certainly in the VW and this week, he has lost it. He is awkward, his head moves in, his arms are stiff, he doesn't have much hip action, but mostly, what is strange is that he has lost that ability to move fluidly. It probably is that now he is thinking about it whereas before he just did what came naturally. Perplexing... Maybe Julianne can do something about it.

He had 4 weeks to learn the foxtrot, but only 4 days to learn each of the other dances. Maybe that was why his later performances weren't as good. Some contestants just need more time to learn each dance.

He now has to learn 2 dances a week, giving him even less rehearsal time per dance. He'd better pray that he gets the samba next week, because he seems to do well in fast and rythmic dances like the mambo. But if he gets the tango or paso next week, I'm afraid it could be another ugly display of bad postures and facial expressions.

Interesting obversation. That just could be the reason he was better at first than now.

Where? All I saw under the results show were two clips with JLo. Where's Shesha and Nikki and the other Lindy Hoppers?

Shesha's our Lindy instructor in Orange County. He said that, though billed as "rock and roll", they'd be doing Lindy, Balboa, Shag, and aerials. I taped it and won't be able to watch it until this weekend, but Chachachachat's problems sound like it could have been in the downlink, in which case my recording would also be hosed.

Yeah, I have to agree. Love her, and wish I had her grace and elegance when dancing, but I too get sick of the talk about how amazing Tony is. I mean, to me, she was NOT lucky to get him, because he tends to play things safe and careful and never really does anything that even LOOKS energetic even when he could. Remember Stacey Keibler's freestyle that they hyped up as being so good and then it was slow and careful and afterwards we all looked at each other like, "that was IT?" I'm afraid the same is happening with Jane. People are getting bored with his slow style. Now dont get me wrong, when he dances competitively with Elena and does the slow thing with her, it looks great. But with his stars, not so much so. It just makes them look careful and like they are not getting into it. I dunno. I just know that I get tired of him and Maks getting ticked at the judges for not realizing how GREAT their star is or for not liking their choreography, or for giving critisism. They are judges for goodness sakes. And its a show. Dont take it personally, just use it and get on with it. Also both he and Maks seem to instill into their stars the same attitude, thus all four of them start sounding totally full of themselves and get annoying. (sigh) I'm just not sure as to who I like this season. I like all the ones left now a little, but none of them alot. :(
