Hi guys, I am relatively new to AT, but I can follow quite well as I have a wast experience in many other forms of dancing and can understand how to maintain my axis, have a free leg, collect, very comfortable with the close embrace, I am very flexible and was regularly complimented on my musicality.
I recently started going to local Milongas. I am 40 (I consider myself to be a good looking lady). It is really awkward to be sitting at a table by myself or with other lady and wait sometimes for a few tandas in a row before being asked to dance.
My question is... Should I just be patient and keep on attending and wait till more people know me and my dancing abilities and start asking me dancing more regularly or whether I have a right to walk and verbally ask a guy to dance with me? I tried to search for guys visually and perform cabeceo, but they all seem to pretend not to notice my attempts.
So should I be more bold or more patient? What do you think will pay in a long run?
