Looking at cleavage

Ditto. Does not matter. And, regardless, it's not as if it's just pits that sweat.

Wish my teacher sweated a lot. Damn him. I cannot for the life of me figure that out, and I refuse to believe it's purely and issue of physical fitness (on his part) or lack thereof (on mine).
actually...it is a matter if physical fitness and heredity...the MORE physically fit one it the better and quicker one's body begins to cool itself...I never had these issues when I was unfit....

Well, in that case, god help me if I ever get in shape. And, yeah, I've got heredity working against me as well. Damn my father, lol. (Although thanks, Dad, for the eyes, eye lashes, eye brows and hair. And skin tone.)

I might get blasted for this, but the way I see it, if a woman walks around with her cleavage clearly exposed, they shouldn't be upset if someone looks at it. I mean, I'm not even "into" women, and even "I" can't help but look at a women's cleavage if she's parading it around in a revealing top. I mean, unless she was born yesterday, she knows that as soon as she steps outside, she's going to get some attention... it's just eye-catching! If you don't want people to look at your cleavage, cover it up then. There are plenty of nice tops out there that aren't revealing.

Absolutely agree with this. Unfortunately, i think this is definitely a salsa-thing. A standard-and-latin person myself, going to salsa clubs used to really upset me. I'm sure it would upset me still, i just choose not to go. My bf at the time really loved salsa, so i tried to drag him to ballroom events and he tried to drag me to his beloved salsa club (LA area). The sheer amount of loose or wanna-be loose girls there was overwhelming, as was the cleavage-bearing and grinding.

So i really agree with the initial post of this thread. Its disconcerting and overwhelming. and yes, i've seen it before.

Also, i don't think there was anything incriminating in staring, as it was obviously part of you experimenting with/trying to understand the motivations of these women - they were the ones to initially provoke the stares and encourage you by smiling and repeatedly asking you to dance. As a woman, i want to get defensive and say "don't stare" but this situation does not call for that.

Agree. But all the same, there's a difference between noticing and appreciating versus outright leering. The first...yeah, that's part of why I wear low cut tops. And, no, I don't get upset. The latter...um, a bit of subtlety, please.

It would be a sad, sad, world, samina. :)

Err, actually, it'd be the Muslim world. It works for them, but not for my tastes. Different strokes an dall.

thats not quite accurate - you're talking about shared cleavage, I'm sure they have a lot of the private kind...

Besides, is that really true of the moslem world? Seems as if every time anyone tries to suppress any ilicit pleasures in the west it generates a counter culture to provide the same - look at abolition. Is that true in the moslem world too? Are there places where the well connectd can go and imbibe cleavage, alchol and any other otherwise banned pleasure deemed unsuitable for the masses?

Much as I would like to enslave my dance instructors, I think you mean abstinence. ;)

Peaches wins tonight's star prize: interpret Elise after two glasses of red wine.... apraently there's not a lot of absitinence/abolition/prohibition going on round here...
