Looking at cleavage

No, I wasn't putting my girls out there to gain attention in anyway. Yes, some flaunt it... but like I said you better test waters carefully- those who flaunt it don't mind when you look those who don't (me) will leave you in the middle of a dance in the middle of the floor if you continually degrade me with your eyes.

I was wearing nothing more revealing than other women at these dances... maybe it's just because I'm bigger than average. Either way men: excercise some discreation.

I respect that you don't like to be looked at, vmec. But it's hard for me to understand how appreciation is degrading. Do other DFers also find appreciative eyes degrading? If so...why?

again, appreciation is in the eye of the beholder, so is degradation...most of us do a pretty good job of distinguishing between the two...I think (with most men) it is covert and, if the assets are considerable, well, then it is hardly avoidable for a gent not to notice unless he isn't an "uppers" sort of guy...as I said before, I don't mind a bit of subtle appreciation, just not prolonged leering...except of course from dh who can be as fixated as he likes

So you only want the hot guys to look, and everyone else is supposed to avert their eyes when you walk into the room? I so much don't feel sorry for you. Grow up.

Ummm where in all of my posts do I say anything about hot guys being able to look and everyone else isn't? Umm nowhere? I don't like when ANY guys stares at my boobs! Sorry.

Well I thought I kind of touched on this before. I appriciate a nice compliment, or a sweet smile, or something like that. But when a man cannot look anywhere other than my boobs I find that disrespectful and degrading as he's only dancing with me becasue he has something nice to look at.

To me it's like:
"You have a great smile"
vs
"You have great tits"
The first just seem more genuwine and sweet.

I think you have hit upon a good distinction..."no where else but my cleavage" is different from the eyes moving here and there...

Perhaps he's staring because he finds them grotesque. Like a car wreck.

This is obviously a troll.

No I didn't, and I stand by what I said. I can spot her type from a mile away.
well then help me to understand...it sounded like the distiction she was making had nothing to do with what sort of man was looking...it sounded lie she was saying that while there are women who are into the mixed message she isn't...I just don't get how you come up with the other inference from her post...particularly since she is a very new poster

Yup. And attitude. An appreciation of the woman herself. "Damn, what a woman!" pretty much sums it up for me.
and personally, a man can look me in the eye with the same sort of intentsity and make me blush...and sometimes it is nice and sometimes it isn't...and it isn't about how the guy looks or dances, it's sort of abut how bold the look is...sometimes it is a bit too predatory...mind you, I would never refuse a guy a dance or storm off the dance floor, but I have been in a position to feel very very uncomfortable with certain guys

But she's giving the mixed message. She admits that she wears revealing tops, and then she complains that guys look. In my experience, when that happens, it's always the same thing: she has a very high opiinion of herself, she thinks she deserves a top 10% male, and she has contempt for all other men. I've met hundreds just like her.

Yes, I can see that being looked at as prey would be very uncomfortable.

not sure that she has admitted to wearing something reavealing, just something mainstream to what is generally worn...I can certainly appreciate male frustration with mixed signals...I truly do...you and I have discussed that...but I am just not certain that in a handful of posts any of us can nail the personality of anyone else...that is all...that is not at all to deny the existance of the type of woman you describe
