Most men here will not experience dancing as a situation where they have favorable circumstances...
Seldom laughed so much: so true!
Ask questions, meet dancers, and be part of the conversation.

I've been there! But not with Argentine Tango. This is some alternate reality.
That MIGHT work... just don’t expect results in the Ronda itself!, the best solution would be for me to shed my cultural corset and hit on a guy instead
That was said from a fictional perspective of a straight guy, as a reply to a suggestion that women should start leading (women). So, a bit out of context. That MIGHT work... just don’t expect results in the Ronda itself!
To be precise: I suggest this if women:That was said from a fictional perspective of a straight guy, as a reply to a suggestion that women should start leading (women). So, a bit out of context.
Good idea. Years ago, there was a milonga in Buenos Aires, ,"El Viejo Correo" (The Old Post Office) where people who did not wish to be given mirada and cabeceo, would ask and get a small red flag on their table. So others do not waste time with them.To be precise: I suggest this if women:

b) do not dance to get in close contact with men.
---- it would of course be necessary to be honest with yourself and others. When entering, all visitors should be asked: "Are you here to get in close contact with the opposite sex?" And depending on this, there is then a colored badge to wear.
Oh No, @MariaSAO, something seems to be fundamentally wrong here! I just wanted to point out that in tango there will be no compensation for kinds of gender injustices(*) in real life.Sounds like the you IT and engineers guys here are ready to develop a programme for women in Tango. Bet it's going to be fun.
So if I don't give the correct answer, will send me away or what????? 'The computer says 'No''.
I was just amused. You seem to be in a mission to save the women in TangoOh No, @MariaSAO, something seems to be fundamentally wrong here! I just wanted to point out that in tango there will be no compensation for kinds of gender injustices(*) in real life.
From a couple's point of view, things can look different. Women are generally "super profiteers": registration is not an insurmountable hurdle, travel and hotel accommodation can be shared, more than three undesirably seated tandas are unimaginable. For above reasons I still do not fully comprehend the intention of encuentros festivals, with balance gender number. I might repeat myself, but somehow the Milongas and open Festivals seem to work for everybody, no matter if there are more women.
For me, personally, that doesn't make sense, but it does for couples. These can minimize their risks and at the same time maximize their benefits. So why should they not do that?I feel for you, it makes sense then if you need a protected enviroment. Different needs, different kind of events. Got it
Well put! Some Ferraris want to be driven only by Formula One drivers. Some are more social and open—if they like the Lead personally, they’ll dance with a bungler cheerfully and extract enjoyment from it. It very much depends on the model!I'm not going to take some Ferrari out on the racetrack. Some seem scary until you know them better.
But if you go to any event with a partner, there should not be a risk anyway because you are supposed to take care of each other if one of you isn't connecting with the people there. That's why one might arrange a partner for example, a local milonga where one doesn't particularly like the dancing of the regulars, but there's nowhere else to go in the middle of the weekFor me, personally, that doesn't make sense, but it does for couples.
