Looking at cleavage

Has anyone considered that someone might look voluptuous, for lack of a better word, no matter what she wears? And unless the clothes are made by Omar the Tent-Maker, there's no disguising it.

Even wearing something as ordinary as a t-shirt might elicit stares.

Personally, if someone is making me uncomfortable, I'll handle it, one way or the other. And if that involves a few choice words, so be it.

Ah, ladies are just so lovely to behold....

At first I thought it absurd that this thread is approaching 100 pages. Now I realize that it hits on a deep issue of human sexuality. This is why some of Arab cultures require women have to wear burqas.

Personally I think that some of the Latin outfits--for both the men and women--are a little too loud. For me it actually distracts from the dancing. I prefer modest dress and superb dancing ;)

Perhaps he's staring because he finds them grotesque. Like a car wreck.

This is obviously a troll.
Because you didn't like what I had to say- I'm a troll? Still, I don't care why he's looking I could be fat and ugly with huge boobs and he'd probably stare... I could be thin, and not ugly with big boobs and he's still stare- my point doesn't change; me being a troll or not.

But she's giving the mixed message. She admits that she wears revealing tops, and then she complains that guys look. In my experience, when that happens, it's always the same thing: she has a very high opiinion of herself, she thinks she deserves a top 10% male, and she has contempt for all other men. I've met hundreds just like her.
Bud, I didn't say I wore revealing clothes. I wear clothes like any other women, and I'm not at the end of the spectrum either. There are women more covered up, and women wearing much less.
Please, with the I think I'm better than everyone else. I dance with anyone who asks.. ugly, bad dancer, fat, hot but I reject the one guy that can't look anywhere else but my boobs. You seem to think you know "my type" so well... glad to see I've been so judged. How welcome I feel, thanks.

Why is it is so unrealistic for me to expect a man to not stare at my chest the entire time he's dancing with me? Are you men really that low on self control that you have to put all the onus on me, and what I'm doing wrong? I mean, can you not possess a little self control? I didn't think it was too much to be able to expect my partner to look elsewhere when he's dancing with me. My God.

englezul: the reason I believe they are dancing with "the chick with boobs" is because they stare the entire time. If you glance maybe once or twice quickly, that is not my problem. My problem is the men who can't take their eyes off them. Hopefully the other men are dancing with be because of what you listed.

Purr: you have also listed something valid. What if yes, I have bigber than normal boobs, I could wear a T-shirt and they'll be big. No matter what I wear the girls are there, they won't be hanging out like some of you seem to think they are, but they're not. They really aren't anything special just a little bigger than average. Why must I be expected to have men look? Have some bloody self control. Can you not glance instead of stare? I'd like the man to be able to take some responsibility and not blame everything on how I act, what I wear, and what I'm doing...

SDG - looks like that put rather a damper on a lively fun thread :(
Maybe and maybe not, but the fact is that, like any community, DF has guidelines... and in this case all that was requested is that continuing exchanges not border on personal attacks. If you consider that a damper on fun, well, quite frankly I think that says a lot more about you than about my post.

So they stare the ENTIRE time? Avoid them! Now as a man I have to admit that it happens that my eyes fall on a woman's cleavage without having no intention to look, especially if you wear a necklace, or have a dress with shiny threads around the cleavage. It's rather funny actually because it's almost like a magnet, I don't even realize it and bang im looking there...Don't know quite how to explain this but I sure some guys will relate. It is however very brief and of course does not happen that often.

But if you're dealing with CHRONIC GAWKERS avoid them, reject them, do whatever you need to keep them away.

Well in that case cry me a river. I know all those women go to sleep every night wishing they were UGLY!

Entire time, maybe not- perhaps I exaggerated to get my point across. But I would consider them 'chronic gawkers'. All I was trying to say was I do avoid these men. Maybe men like you, not so much- if you do glance then look away, and it doesn't happen again, that's perfectly fine. I will use the term 'chronic gawker' from here on in. It's those guys that are the problem.

Hey nobody said it was easy to be a woman, but women do the same when they stare at men despite the fact they have no cleavage
(i would hope so).

That still doesn't mean that we (I guess that would be girls with big boobs?) should expect to have men stare! However I'll speak for myself only, I DO go to bed wishing my boobs were smaller... I **** you not.

Well-said, engel.

I find the same accidental magnetic draw at times...and I wouldn't even be a boob-man if I were a guy. *grin*

Oh good grief. Please nobody talk to this ridiculous vmec anymore. It just gives them license to write something even more ridiculous and offensive. Such a troll.

SDG. I did not say you were wrong - I'll trust your judgement that the issue was an important one. However, could that not have been transmitted equally well by PM? Seems to me that would have got your point accross well, allowed the person themselves to correct the error (remember sometimes we don't realize we've overstepped a limit) and also have the benefit of leaving the thread on its happy course.
